We provide professional 3D scanning services for physical objects, including sculptures, prototypes, props, and parts. As well as select creative projects involving people. We capture visible surface geometry and deliver mesh files in STL or OBJ format for archiving, modeling reference, reproduction, or preparation for 3D printing.
Before preparing a quote, we assess the object and its intended use. While photos can help identify potential concerns, a final assessment requires a complete review of the object and the project’s requirements.

3D scanning services measure the visible surface of a real object and convert that data into a digital 3D mesh. The mesh may be useful on its own, or it may become reference material for cleanup, reconstruction, 3D printing, or reproduction.

Sculptures, handmade objects, products, prototypes,people, props, and existing parts are well suited to 3D scanning when their visible surface geometry needs to be captured. Each object must still be evaluated, as its material, finish, stability, accessibility, and required level of detail can affect the quality of the result.

Transparent, highly reflective, very dark, soft, or moving surfaces may require special preparation and may still be difficult to scan reliably.
Hair, fur, thin edges, deep recesses, and concealed areas may result in incomplete or noisy scan data.
The scanner captures only visible surfaces, it cannot detect internal features or determine material composition.

Our 3D scanning services start at €110*. The final price depends on the object’s size and complexity, the required level of detail, accessibility, capture time, data cleanup, project scope, and the file formats you need. CAD reconstruction and 3D printing are quoted separately unless explicitly included in the quote.
*Different rates may apply to objects with very simple geometry, such as a basic cylinder, as well as to complete scan-to-production projects.

Turnaround time depends on the schedule, access to the object, scanning complexity, cleanup requirements, and any changes to the agreed scope. Your quote will outline the final scope, price, timeline, file format, and any project-specific limitations.

Each application has different requirements. A visualization scan differs from a printable 3D mesh or a model intended for CAD development.

Not directly. A scan produces a polygon mesh, an editable CAD model must usually be rebuilt separately.

Accuracy varies from one object to another. It depends on the object’s size, surface, shape, accessibility, scanning setup, and intended use. We review your accuracy requirements before providing a quote. We do not currently offer certified dimensional inspection or metrology services.

Sometimes, but a 3D scan is not always ready to print. The mesh may require repairs, cleanup, added wall thickness, part separation, or other adjustments based on the printing process. Print preparation is reviewed and quoted separately.

STL and OBJ are the most common file formats for 3D scan deliverables. Your quote will specify the agreed file format, scale, resolution, level of mesh cleanup, and whether source data is included.

Yes, but a 3D scanner typically produces a polygon mesh rather than a clean, parametric CAD model. Creating an editable CAD model may require manual reconstruction using the scan as a reference. This work is evaluated and quoted separately.

3D scanning is not suitable for certified dimensional inspection, capturing hidden or internal geometry, or producing a guaranteed editable CAD model without additional reconstruction work. Transparent, highly reflective, fuzzy, flexible, or moving objects may also be difficult or impractical to scan and must be evaluated individually.

To prepare an accurate quote, we need details about the object, the critical areas to be scanned, and the intended use of the final file. Photos are helpful, but they cannot determine the required accuracy, project feasibility, or final cost on their own.
